Mike Hoeger has been an English Teacher since 1996 and Girls' and Boys' Head Tennis coach since 2002.He took a two year leave in 2000 - 2002 to teach in Minnesota.Prior to that, he taught english at Leuzinger High School from 1987 to 1996.Mr. Hoeger has a B.A. and B.S., and he is originally from South Dakota.Mr. Hoeger is married to Ms. Dewitt who also teaches English at Peninsula High.

Mr. Hoeger also likes taking family ski trips, reading Lethem's "A Fortress of Solitude", listening to the Shins, sitting in mod furniture, and taking 50 students with Mr.Hall to Europe each summer.
