LEWISBURG - Evangelical Community Hospital has named Matthew E. Hoeger of Danville as the new manager of Continuous Quality Improvement.As CQI manager, Hoeger will work with the employees of Evangelical to develop processes and controls that ensure the hospital will continue to improve the quality of its staff and services.
A graduate of Shikellamy High School, Hoeger earned an associate degree in electrical technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 1995.He returned to school to earn a bachelor's degree in business management in 2004.
He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville, and a committee member of the local chapter of Ducks Unlimited.He lives in Danville with his wife, Cynthia and their son, Vladimir, 13.
