About the Author

Dan Hoeger was ordained a cleric of the Catholic Church as a Permanent Deacon in 1989. Following ordination he remained in business, plus served as a professional volunteer minister of the church. In 2002, after a 30 year successful business career, Dan retired from business and joined the staff of St. Patrick Parish in Cedar Rapids Iowa. In addition to his parish responsibilities, he is also Chaplain for the Cedar Rapids Police Dept. and serves as the Governors appointed member of the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Commission for the State of Iowa.
