Paula Hoegemeyer, RN, NHARemediation Manager With more than 30 years of clinical and training experience in the long-term care arena, Paula Hoegemeyer is a valued expert in long-term care operations and remediation training.As Project Manager for Pathway's Remediation Training Program, Ms. Hoegemeyer assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of remediation services for nursing homes statewide as a part of Pathway's contract with the State of Michigan Department of Community Health, Bureau of Health Services and client-directed services.Last year, Ms. Hoegemeyer conducted numerous training sessions and has successfully trained hundreds of nursing home staff on compliance issues.

Prior to Pathway, Ms. Hoegemeyer served in a variety of long-term care positions including serving as a Remediation Specialist and Consultant for the Michigan Public Health Institute, Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Infection Control Coordinator and Staff Development Coordinator.Ms. Hoegemeyer is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Michigan.

Hoegemeyer, RN, NHARemediation SpecialistPaula provides Directed Inservice Training to long term care facilities to enhance their quality of care and continuing compliance to state and federal regulations.In addition, she assists with Directed Plans of Correction as referred by the State of Michigan.With three years experience with the CLTC, Paula assists as faculty for the Resident/Family Education program. Paula received a diploma in nursing from Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing in 1962 and a Nursing Home Administrators License from the State of Michigan in 1992.She has over twenty years of long term care experience including staff nursing, infection control, inservice education, nursing facility administration, and consulting.She is a representative board member to the Michigan Society for Infection Control, and a representative member to T.E.A.C.H.
