Rachel Hodge, market development manager of Calor, said: "Rural developers are definitely becoming more clued up about LPG.
They are finding that installing this type of fuel makes properties easier to sell because home buyers prefer gas , especially if they are moving from an urban area where they have been used to the benefits of mains gas."
Blofield Hall was originally the home of a tea merchant but was left in ruins after a fire broke out over a decade ago.
The 19th century building is of historical interest, and therefore any company working alongside Emberzone had to comply with stringent guidelines.
