Alisha Hirsch, The Walsingham Fund Alisha, a principal of The Walsingham Fund ( http://www.walsinghamfund.com), represents her fund on the board of Blueprint since their initial investment in 2006, and acts as Blueprint's Chair of the Governance Committee. Alisha lead Walsingham's investment in Blueprint and handles the assessment and oversight of a number of Walsingham investments. In prior roles, Alisha worked as an associate in New York at Barnard & Co., a private equity firm managing approximately $2 billion and focused on growth financings for information technology, business services and communications companies. Alisha started her career in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Merrill Lynch in New York.

Alisha earned a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in Mathematics and Economics from Wellesley College in Massachusetts.She began her career in finance working in Merrill Lynch's New York office as a technology investment banking analyst.

Alisha is currently a student member of WCM and is active in supporting women in finance.At Merrill, she organized a forum for female analysts to discuss their careers and was on the Analyst Advisory Panel.In her first year at Rotman, she was an executive member of the Finance Association and facilitated a trading simulation game for the 2003 SheBiz conference, a day-long event designed to help young women in grades 10 and 11 explore the diverse and exciting opportunities available in business.In her second year, as an executive member of Rotman's Women in Management Association, she will Co-Chair the 2004 SheBiz conference.This summer Alisha is an intern with BMO Nesbitt Burns in the Equity Derivative Products Group.
