Jon Hinkson is a research fellow and cofounder of the Rivendell Institute for Christian Thought and Learning at Yale University, a special project of the campus ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.

Jon graduated from Princeton University in history (B.A., 1985).He grew up in Europe with missionary parents and has ministered extensively in Eastern Europe and in the former Soviet Union.He has served with Campus Crusade for Christ since 1985 at Yale University and Cambridge University.Jon also completed his M.Phil. degree in divinity-church history from Cambridge University (1993).

Jon is married to Anita, a Yale university graduate with a degree in history (B.A., 1988).Anita has worked as a producer for CBS News in New York and NBC News in Europe, and has served with Campus Crusade for Christ since 1993 at Cambridge University and Yale University.
