Curtis began his court reportingcareer in Atlanta, Georgia with one of the largest freelance reporting firms in the South.Upon returning to Dallas, Texas in 1977, he spent a period of time as a Deputy Official Reporter for Judge Robert Porter in Federal Court, followed by a two year stint as an Official Reporter in Bankruptcy Court.Curtis returned to the freelance world in 1979 where he has remained since.
