Mrs. High was a 50-year member of the First Presbyterian Church and a past Deacon and member of a church circle.She was also a past member of the Dirt Dabblers Garden Club and the Iris Society.She enjoyed gardening and sharing her flowers with friends and family.She enjoyed life and giving to people , whether it was with her cooking , baking or smiles.Her accepting nature made her a joy to be around.She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband ; a daughter , Trudy Hines of Lincoln ; two sons , Michael and Randy , all of Lincoln ; seven grandchildren , Frances , Katherine , Claire , Breanna and Alynn Nigh and Jay and Guy Perkins ; a great-granddaughter , Kaylie Alynn Trumble ; three sisters : Vivian Von Loh of Lincoln , Alice Thorell of Ashland and Sharon Jordening of Memphis , Tenn. ; and a brother , Kenneth Cooley of Norman , Okla..
She was preceded in death by her parents ; an infant son ; two grandsons , Lucas High and Michael High ; and a son-in-law , John Perkins.
Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington.
