"Two years ago, we did 76 events in 44 markets," Brent High, the president of Third Coast Sports, said.
Third Coast Sports, a Nashville company High described as a nonprofit ministry, stages faith-based events for teams that want them.In the majors, High said, Third Coast has worked with the Braves, Astros, Twins, Dodgers, Rangers, Reds, Cardinals and Nationals.

High, who is in Arizona this week looking for business, emphasized the separation of the events from the games.
"They take place before or after ballgames," he said in a telephone interview Saturday.
...
Nothing is passed out during games, High added, and there is nothing "that we shove in peoples' faces."
"That's not to say there haven't been other teams or groups that have tried to copy this," he said.
...
"It's just a way for a team to reach people in another way," High said, meaning a different way of luring fans.
