Patrick Higgins:
* Higgins's number one goal is to reconnect with students. He is advocating for campus-wide programming, and for having a spring concert outside through Registered Student Organizations.
* He believes student government needs to do a better job maintaining students' rights by fighting the dry campus concept and parental notification.
* Higgins says improving academic advising is also important. He believes that students not graduating in four years is a problem, and that the SGA needs to invest in the people who help students get through in four years and provide the one-on-one relationships that are currently lacking.
* Making parking more affordable for undergrads is necessary, Higgins says.He believes that undergraduates should be paying a cheaper rate, especially considering that parking has not improved recently and the total population of campus is growing.
