Reverend Patrick Higgins is
an ordained minister in a Christian, non-denominational faith.
He is the founder of the SFAOBX Foundation, a group dedicated to helping abandoned
and abused animals on the Outer Banks who base their work on the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.
He will perform weddings for all denominations including renewal

Reverend Higgins is an avid golfer and fisherman.He is the author of three books, one of which was named one of the outstanding food and beverage books of 1997 by Food and Wine Magazine.He lives in Kill Devil Hills with his wife and 5 cats.
