Every day, Patrick Higgins goes head to head with 6-feet tall, 200 pound giants.
As the offensive coordinator for the University of Texas at El Paso football team, the bachelor is not intimidated by the burly players who can knock his block off.
But when it comes to showing what he's got on a catwalk, Higgins gets weak in the knees.
This Friday, the 38-year-old will be trying to control the shaking as he and 20 other bachelors strut their stuff for charity at the El Paso Airport Hilton.
The single men will be auctioned to the highest bidders to benefit the Animal Rescue League, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving stray, abandoned, orphaned, abused and injured animals.
The event is sponsored by Desert Eagle Distributing.
"I think it's for a great cause," Higgins said."This is my first time (participating).I just want to go for $100."
The eligible bachelors were picked from throughout the city, from the police and fire departments; the military, business and financial worlds; and a few from the medical and athletic arenas thrown in.
