John Higgins Snooker Marathon 2005John Higgins, former World Champion and Vice President of national children's charity BIBIC, is calling cue sport players across the UK to take part in this annual team fundraiser.
Throughout October and November 2005, players of all abilities are encouraged to hold a marathon at their local snooker or social club, leisure centre, pool hall, pub, college, university or place of work.The winning team will receive tickets to The Masters 2006 where they will meet John Higgins, currently ranked seventh in the world.

John Higgins says, "This is the perfect excuse for all cue sport fans to have a good session playing their favourite sport, whilst raising funds for children with disabilities.There are tables in so many places, so let's get our cues out and make the most of them for BIBIC!"
This event was launched in 1998 when John Higgins won the Liverpool Victoria Charity Challenge in support of BIBIC - British Institute for Brain Injured Children.
