The star prize of tickets to The Masters 2006 to meet John and watch him play Jimmy White, followed by a backstage tour, has been won by The Hebrideans (yes, from the Outer Hebrides!) who raised a fabulous £1,935.00 for BIBIC.

Top prizes of John Higgins signed cues for the highest 3 individual fundraisers were scooped by Nick Philips (£426.58) and Jeremy Naylor (£309.50), again from The Hebrideans, and Shaun Carpenter (£279) who held a pool half marathon with the ‘Ibiza Kids' in his local, village pub in North Somerset.

John Higgins Snooker Marathon 2005John Higgins, former World Champion and Vice President of national children's charity BIBIC, is calling cue sport players across the UK to take part in this annual team fundraiser.

Throughout October and November 2005, players of all abilities are encouraged to hold a marathon at their local snooker or social club, leisure centre, pool hall, pub, college, university or place of work.The winning team will receive tickets to The Masters 2006 where they will meet John Higgins, currently ranked seventh in the world.

This event was launched in 1998 when John Higgins won the Liverpool Victoria Charity Challenge in support of BIBIC - British Institute for Brain Injured Children.
