   The testimony of another Elan student, John Higgins, was discredited in a 2000 hearing when he admitted he lied to investigators and asked about a $50,000 reward in the case.
   
   It is not known right now what - if any - role transcripts of Coleman's testimony will have at trial.
   
   Sherman is also expected to argue that Skakel had an alibi at the time of the slaying - he was at a cousin's house in another part of Greenwich around the time of the slaying.
