How Do We Educate the Whole Person?

Headmaster John Higgins was also very supportive of Gorney's idea, even if it is a little unconventional.

"It is different," Higgins said."But I think it's nice to have a PE program that has a lot of different elements to it.It gives the kids a better variety of activities.All grade levels can benefit."

Higgins and other teachers agreed it was too early to tell if there was any correlation between yoga and better discipline in class, but were optimistic that they might see a difference over time.
