With never more than a couple of points between the teams through out the game, words of wisdom from coach Adam Higgins in the final quarter lifted Readymix and tactical play in the final seconds got them home.

The Rams opened with power forward and game MVP Nathan Peckham firing the opening salvo for the Rams with team mate and point guard Adam Higgins lighting it up from beyond the 3 point arc with early 3 successes.Both Peckham and Higgins however were in early foul trouble and back up Centre Nick Hubbard coming to the pairs rescue like a knight in shining armour, helping to maintain an offensive rhythm whilst the two playmakers had an early rest.

A defensive cyclone erupted against the visitors during the 2nd quarter, which transposed into an offensive vacuum that saw the Rams outscore their visitors 34 to 15.

Dubbo tall Peter Leppik playing an aggressive game on the boards, Adam Higgins again working hard chipped in with 10 points, Jay Forrester with 8 of his own only to see the talls in Peckham and Leppik also in the points with 6 each.

Although they were down at the final break words of wisdom from new coach Adam Higgins rallied the Readymix side.

Dubbo point guard Adam Higgins a standout with a cool 26 points whilst captain Caleb Hunt had 16 including 4 from beyond the 3 point arc and tall man Peter Leppik managing to put up 13 of his own.

The 2nd quarter tightened up with Dubbo guard Adam Higgins taking over from where Peckham had finished off offensively, back up again coming from rams centre Peter Leppik.
