    Gail HigginsAfter commencing art lessons 1995 Gail became increasingly interested in painting Australia's beautiful native flora and fauna.She developed a keen interest in birds and now devotes more and more of her time to painting them, particularly the sea and shore birds around the Brisbane bayside area where she lives.

    Gail is an active member of the Queensland Wildlife Artists Society, currently editing the bi-monthly newsletter.She is also a member of Nature in the Raw group of wildlife artists, the Pastel Society of Australia, the Marwell Art Society of UK, Old School House Gallery in Cleveland, and the Mary Cairncross Environment Association, Melany.In 2000 two of her paintings were selected for a QWASI exhibition sponsored by Faber-Castell in Nuremburg, Germany.
