Paul HigginbottomPaul joined Barnsley MBC Social Services in the role of Business Manager in 2002 with overall responsibility for the operation and strategic development of the Council's Home Care Service which has a 44% market share and delivers 5,500 hours of care through 12,000 weekly visits to approximately 850 service users, the majority of which are from the adult elderly sector.In 2004 Paul was given the additional responsibility as Head of Service for Central Call which provides monitoring and response services to 9,500 vulnerable people across the borough of Barnsley and is currently taking the lead in the development of Assistive Technologies.
