Bonnie was promotions director for WONN and WPCV in 1987 and 1988.Her job also included hosting public service programs, editing the stations' newsletter and representing them both at community functions.She later became the media chairman for the International Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In, the second-largest aviation convention and air show in the United States, promotions director for the Lakeland Downtown Development Authority, and managing publisher of Lakeland Real Estate Week for the Lakeland Association of Realtors.

Today (2007) Bonnie is employed by DFA Communications as a consultant to the Florida Department of Transportation.
