Pia Higbee grew up in the Italian part of Switzerland and has been living in San Diego, California, since 1995.Her native language is Italian and she also speaks English, French and some German.

Prior to coming to the USA she earned a business degree in Switzerland.Since Pia loves to study, she continued her education and graduated with a Bachelors degree in English from San Diego State University.While attending SDSU, Pia advised other international students on their class requirements, academic goals and personal choices.

Her international education and extensive experience with cross-cultural counseling, combined with a passion for languages has prepared her well for her role at Amity Institute as a Program Counselor.
