    GSA's Amber Hieb, raffle coordinator, did a magnificent job raising $12,000 for GSA's marine conservation work, up $1000 over last year.Amber and her team of volunteers attended 30 events in 14 communities, selling approximately 2300 tickets in only 16 weeks.She also organized and produced a radio ad campaign for GSA with air time donated by the Malaspina University-College FM radio station where she is a student.

    AMBER HIEB, who was GSA's summer student for three years, is now coordinating our "Coastal Stewards of Tomorrow" initiative, aimed at providing experience and training for young adults wanting to become conservation leaders.She is also pursuing a degree in Business Administration focusing on marketing and media studies.In her spare time she works with a collective of natural builders and hosts her own current events news program on local community radio.
