Jim Hie

JIM HIE, PMCC Treasurer, is a former hook-and-line fisherman in Bodega Bay, CA, who is actively involved in cooperative research projects with California Dept. of Fish and Game, Bodega Bay Marine Lab, PMCC and California Sea Grant Extension.Jim has a degree in electrical engineering, extensive at-sea experience, and is an advocate for selective fishing practices and community sustainability initiatives.He currently serves on the Salmon Advisory Subpanel of the Pacific Fishery Management Council.
