Christopher Hidrovo, 17, of East Newark and Mariel Teschlog, 17, of Bayonne.A senior at Harrison High School, Christopher competes on the football, basketball and baseball teams, He also finds the time to raise funds for service projects spearheaded by the Harrison Lions Club and has volunteered to work with special needs kids at a residential summer camp.Mariel is a top student at St. Dominic Academy in Jersey City, where she is a catalyst behind fundraisers to fight hunger and cancer.An all-county performer in javelin for the Blue Devils track team, Mariel has spent several weeks during her high school career volunteering to help the needy in the Appalachian Mountains in West Virginia and also spends time each month sorting food at the St. Mary Parish food pantry in Bayonne.
