Walter Barlett Hicks Jr.

Walter Barlett Hicks Jr. of Lunenburg, VT, formerly of Sea Cliff, died on March 4, 2003.He was born in Westfield, MA, son of Edith (Angell) and Walter B. Hicks Sr.He enlisted in the US Marine Corps on April 28, 1942 and fought in the Pacific Theater in WWII and was on the first wave landing on Iwo Jima.He was called back into the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
