Mr. Hicks began his construction career in 1994 with Housley Brothers Construction Company.In 1995 he joined Tuttle Roofing in Fort Worth, TX where he quickly rose to be a top salesman for the firm and shortly thereafter was promoted to Senior Storm Manager.In 1998 he formed GWCAT, Inc. to assist in the strategic management of select projects for Tuttle Roofing, and in just ten months under his leadership Tuttle's gross revenues increased from $4 million annually to over $7 million.

For three months in 2004, Mr. Hicks was assigned to be the Project Manager for CPM Ventures, the prime contractor on the "Blue Roof Project" located on the Barrier Reef Islands following Hurricane Ivan.He was responsible for the entire coastal region from Panama City Beach, FL to Pensacola Beach, FL and supervised over 7,000 emergency roof repairs in this three month time frame.His project team billed just less than $6.5 million while realizing a gross profit of $2.9 million for the company during this time period.

From January, 2005 to January, 2006, he managed four main offices on a contractor basis that generated a combined total in excess of $15 Million in gross revenues.
