Current Responsibilities: Stuart Hicks is a Managing Director for Jones Lang LaSalle's Global Client Services group.Mr. Hicks is responsible for defining and developing client requirements and strategies, coordinating multi-disciplinary responses and managing client relationships.
Jones Lang LaSalle's Global Client Services group provides clients with a single point of contact to access the firm's worldwide resources.Global Client Services acts as a client advocate to ensure quality, consistency and timeliness of all services delivered.Mr. Hicks is responsible for all Global Client Services team activities in the Americas Region.
Experience: Mr. Hicks' real estate experience enables him to serve a wide spectrum of client needs.He led facility, project and transaction management services for Bank One's 29-million-square-foot owned and occupied office and retail portfolio in the Eastern United States.He procured the disposition of two surplus manufacturing plants and adjacent development parcels for Herman Miller and a 56-asset surplus property portfolio across 14 states for Shell Oil Company.He integrated a real estate services alliance to support First Merit Corporation's 2-million-square-foot Ohio portfolio.Mr. Hicks oversaw tenant representation negotiations for a 720,000-square-foot build-to-suit industrial facility for UPS Worldwide Logistics.On behalf of Orix Real Estate Equities Inc., he procured investment sales of a 360,000-square-foot Class A building in Washington, D.C., and a 100,000-square-foot Class A building in Santa Monica, California.He oversaw development of an occupancy master plan for a confidential Midwestern client's 1-million-square-foot headquarters.
Positions: Mr. Hicks was previously Executive Vice President of JMB Realty Corporation.He developed JMB's national real estate services approach for corporate and institutional clients and directed marketing and leasing activities for a 30-million-square-foot office portfolio.
Education and Affiliations: Mr. Hicks holds an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and a B.S. in business administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and a real estate salesperson in Illinois.Mr. Hicks is a member of the International Development Research Council and the International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives.
