Reception for Hicks to celebrate 80th birthdayThe family of Virginia Hicks will be hosting a birthday celebration in honor of her 80th birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the First Christian Church, E. Ninth and Alexander.

Virginia retired in 1994 from the Winfield State Hospital & Training Center after 32 years.She serves on the board of directors for CDDS and is a guardian for six former clients of WSH&TC.She is very active in the church and loves spending time with her family.
