Katherine is a fifteen-year old sophomore at Buena High School, in Sierra Vista, Arizona.She is the president of her sophomore class and a member of Key Club.As a sophomore, Katie was a member of the Buena varsity volleyball team and also played junior varsity soccer.Katie has won first place in the National History Day competition for her county.She has been named to Who's Who Among American High School Students, and honored by the United States Achievement Academy.An honor student at Buena High School, Katie enjoys the sciences, and in the future hopes to pursue a career in genetic engineering.Katie also plans to serve in the Peace Corps.
