(SAVANNAH) - Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Savannah (CCCS) has hired Karen Hicks as their newest Credit Counselor.She is currently in the process of certification.

Ms. Hicks' responsibilities will include meeting with clients, reviewing their paperwork and helping them make decisions about their financial futures including budgeting advice and debt management plans, all while remaining cognizant of the client's individual situation.

Ms. Hicks graduated from Centenary College in Shrevesport, Louisiana.Prior to her employment with CCCS, she worked as a paralegal with Harvey & Batty law firm in Beaufort, SC.She moved to the Savannah area four years ago from St. Louis where she also worked as a paralegal.
