Bryan Hicks enters his third year as Assistant Athletic Director for Academics at U of L after serving the previous four as Associate Director for Academic Services.A member of the U of L staff for eight years, he oversees academics for the Cardinal football team and the Papa John's Cardinal Stadium Computer Lab.

A native of Huntsville, AL., Hicks attended Tuskegee University and played on the basketball and baseball teams.He received his bachelors degree in Marketing from Alabama A&M University in 1992 and went on to receive his Masters in Public Administration (MPA) degree from Portland State University in 1996.

Hicks came to the University of Louisville after serving as assistant men's basketball coach and coordinator of multicultural admissions at Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon.While with the Cardinals, Hicks has served as the compliance coordinator over education and monitoring and as an academic counselor.

Hicks and his wife, Kellie, are the parents of three children- two daughters, Hailey and Sydney, and one son, Garrett.
