    Bob Hickok has lived in Kingman since 1990.He is currently a Procurement Specialist for Mohave Educational Services Cooperative, Inc. a nonprofit public procurement unit administering a statewide cooperative purchasing program for government and nonprofit agencies.

    Bob is a Board member for the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce and has served several years on the Ambassadors Committee, two years as Chairman.His favorite event is the annual Wine & Cheese Extravaganza, which he chaired for three years.

    Bob is very involved in the Kingman community.He is past president of the Kingman Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) and also served a term as the president of the Arizona Jaycees.He also helps out with the local Powerhouse Kiwanis club, even though he has not officially joined yet.

    In his spare time, Bob enjoys listening to music, reading a good book, toying with computers, traveling when time and money allow and cheering on the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns.

    "The people of Oriental are very much opposed to that," he said."Oriental is well managed and we're in good shape."

    Minnesott Beach Mayor Josh Potter Jr. said his board had taken no action, although he felt obligated to send a letter to County Manager Randy Beeman, outlining the affects on the town.

    Minnesott Beach, which normally has a budget of about $130,000, saw that jump to the $200,000 range this past July to pay for a curb, gutter and resurfacing project on Country Club Drive.
