Adam Hertz
Director of Athletics, Swarthmore College
A Philadelphia native, Hertz received a B.A. from the University of Redlands, where he played baseball and soccer, and a M.Ed. from Temple University.Since coming to Swarthmore in 2001, Hertz has overseen a $2.5 million stadium renovation, $800,000 field house renovations, construction of dugouts for the baseball and softball teams, and has supervised the overhaul several outdoor fields.Prior his position at Swarthmore, Hertz spent five years as the director of athletics, head men's soccer and golf coach and sport management professor at Alvernia College in Reading, Pa., and four years as the head men's soccer and golf coach at Arcadia University.Adam currently serves on the NCAA men's soccer committee and is the chair of the Centennial Conference Board of Delegates.
