William Hensley, VP of Marketing
joins Wallop after a successful career with Sanrio, Inc.Although he got his start in advertising and financial services, his career is best defined by his accomplishments in marketing at Sanrio.As director of Marketing, William was responsible for developing and driving the communication strategy that transformed the Hello Kitty brand from a girls' age 4-10 character to the ubiquitous lifestyle brand it is today.In addition to leading all Sanrio marketing initiatives - branding, advertising, PR, research and visual merchandising - William launched and directed the company's profitable e-commerce business unit.In 2006, William initiated the co-branded line of Hello Kitty electric and acoustic guitars from Fender Musical Instruments Corp. - the perfect blend of his musical interests and professional skills.
William holds a B.S. in Business/Marketing from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he graduated with highest honors.
