The school board recently announced new head softball coach Jennifer McFalls as the interim Athletic Director, as well as, approving Adam Henke as the Panther's new head football coach.

Adam Henke recently accepted the position as head football coach after Gary Oliver's recent resignation.

Henke is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, where he lettered in football.After being injured in 1994, he started student coaching and later became a graduate coach in 1997.Henke began his career at Bishop Lynch High School as the Offensive Coordinator.In his sixth season at BLHS, he compiled a winning record of 57-20 with 4 district championships, 3 regional championships and 2 state titles.While at Bishop Lynch he taught Computer Applications and Programming Class, served as the Curriculum Council representative and Department Chair.
Although the Panthers had a good season last year finishing at 7-4 and advancing to playoffs, Henke anticipates a better record for 2005-06.With a positive, hands-on coaching style, he's excited to be the head coach in a school with great leadership, great students, and a great future.
