RAMZI HEMADY , M.D. , is a full-time faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine , where he is also Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Training program.In addition , Dr. Hemady is Chief of Ophthalmology Services at the Veterans Administration Hospital.

Dr. Hemady has remained in the forefront of refractive surgery since 1991.He has extensive experience in performing and teaching laser refractive surgical procedures.
