Dan leads two of the firm'spractice groups: The Consumer Products Group and Succession andTransaction Planning Practice Group. As the lead specialist, Danhas assisted food processors by improving profit margins by: analyzingpricing policies; determining employment and manufacturing tax credits;implemented cost studies; increased market share by maximizing shelfspace; researching industry-specific depreciation allowances; anddesigning management reporting practices.

As lead specialist instrategic and transaction planning, Dan has developed and executed avariety of programs including exit strategies, due diligence reporting,ESOP planning and implementation, business plans, investorpresentations, and capital restructuring. Dan has achieved anadvanced designation of CM&A (Certified in Mergers &Acquisitions) as established by the Alliance of Mergers &Acquisition Advisors.

Dan's industry experienceincludes food processors, construction, manufacturing, internationaloperations, restaurants, non-profit, retail, real estate, andprofessional service corporations. He works with clients by providingaudits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements to assistthem in meeting third-party reporting requirements, investor relations,and internal management needs. Additionally, Dan is highly qualified inthe tax area, and works with individuals, partnerships, LLCscorporations, estates and trusts.

Dan graduated from theUniversity of Colorado and has pursued graduate studies in taxation atGolden Gate University. He has served on the board of severalnon-profit service organizations. Living in Kentfield,California, with his wife and three children, Dan enjoys playingtennis, cycling, and spending time with his family.
