ProMutual Group is pleased to announce that Kenneth A. Heisler, M.D., F.A.C.S., Brenda E. Richardson, M.D., and Paul A. Schnitman, D.D.S., M.S.D., will be undertaking new positions as the chairman, vice chairwoman and secretary of the board of Medical Professional Mutual Insurance Company (ProMutual), a parent company of ProMutual Group.

Dr. Heisler began his career as a surgeon in Falmouth, Massachusetts, after graduating from Columbia University with his undergraduate and medical degrees.While still practicing as a surgeon, Dr. Heisler has held several leadership roles for ProMutual Group and most recently held the position of vice chairman.Dr. Heisler is a member of the American Medical Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of General Surgeons.

Dr. Heisler succeeds immediate past chairman of the board, Barry M. Manuel, M.D., F.A.C.S., who led the board for fifteen years.
