Franklyn Heisler Mr. Heisler is a teacher, museum educator, artist, writer, and storyteller.He is currently working as a Glenbow Museum's School Program Educator.In this position, Mr. Heisler develops, implements and promotes hands-on, minds-on, curriculum based programs for students ECS to grade 12.He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Education, and a Masters in Fine Arts.Since 1975 his teaching practice has included instructing at all levels from ECS to university to professionals in the field of teaching.Mr. Heisler will be teaching Friday's workshop on Museum Education at the Glenbow Museum.
Patti Derbyshire Ms. Derbyshire is Audience Development Coordinator for the Glenbow Museum and is also responsible for research design, evaluation analysis and interpretation of learning environments at Mount Royal College.She has an academic background in cultural studies, communication, and research methodologies.She is currently the co-chair of the Education Special Interest Group with the Canadian Museums Association.
