Mr. Gregory M. Heise

GREGORY M. HEISE F.S.A., F.C.I.A.

Mr. Heise is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries with 15 years of experience in pension consulting.He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a B.Math in Honours Actuarial Science and a minor in Statistics.

Mr. Heise joined Leong & Associates Actuaries And Consultants Inc. in June 1993.Working with a diverse group of clients, including large national and international corporations and jointly-trusteed plans, he has developed extensive experience in the areas of plan design, valuation, documentation, compliance, administration, and executive retirement income planning.

Mr. Heise is also an expert on Individual Pension Plans, having provided consulting advice with respect to their operation since 1993.He has made numerous presentations with respect to IPPs to groups of accountants, investment professionals, financial advisors, and plan sponsors.His IPP expertise has been sought by the Accounting Standards Board with respect to the treatment of these arrangements under Canadian accounting rules.

Mr. Heise also serves as a member of the Pension Plan Financial Reporting Committee of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
