Ron was raised in White County, Indiana.Ron graduated from Monon High School in 1961and then attended International College in Fort Wayne, Indiana.He graduated in 1964 and received a B. S. in professional accounting.Ron also attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where he received the Indiana Agricultural Banking Diploma.He has received numerous certificates of achievement from the American Institute of Banking.

Ron has been in the loan and finance arena most of his adult life.His previous experience includes: District Manager at Commercial Credit of Gary, Indiana, Assistant Vice President of Calumet National Bank and First Vice President & Senior Loan Officer at First National Bank and Trust, Sullivan Branch.
