UniSA career services manager, Tony Heinrich, says the expo will be invaluable for students at all stages of their studies and for recent graduates.
"For final year students it is important to note that employers are recruiting right now, so it is not unusual for attendance at the Expo to result in a firm job offer," Heinrich said.
"Many employers have closing dates as early as April this year for graduate entry positions in 2007.Even students in the second year of their degree program will benefit by investigating the different graduate entry programs available in each of the organisations represented. Many large companies are working a year ahead in terms of recruitment, so information gained now about the whole scene, will be invaluable for students entering their final year of study."
Heinrich said the Careers Expo had been planned to help students make the career connections they need, and to have a clearer understanding of the link between their studies and their career options.
"Students have more choices than they have had in many years," he said.
