Heinrich joined the firm as receptionist in 1979, when Nykiel Carlin's professional staff numbered seven.As the firm grew, so did her responsibilities.She was promoted to Administrative Assistant in 1980, and Administrative Supervisor in 1992.By the mid-1990s, Heinrich was overseeing dramatically expanding human resources programs and launching recruitment initiatives to connect Nykiel Carlin with top accounting graduates in a rapidly constricting labor market.She heads human resources at the firm and an administrative staff of seven.

"As I worked my way up the ladder, new opportunities presented themselves.Niches were created that I was able to fill," she said.

A Chicago native, Heinrich is a member of the Northwest Suburban Association of Commerce and Industry (NSACI), where she is Co-Chair of the Recruiter's Forum.She is an active member of the Illinois Association for Accounting Administration (IAAA) and was elected to be Vice President in 2000.
