A basketball coach who has watched several of the tournaments is Rod Heinrich, the Fairmont High School boys B-squad basketball coach.

"I enjoy watching the tournament games," said Heinrich, who will be coaching many of the players in the future as the B-squad coach."It's a well run tournament.It's fun watching the players at this level and watching them make progress as they become older and bigger through high school.

"At the eighth-grade level, a student who doesn't stand out in basketball may grow about four or six inches in the following year, and through hard work and much practice, become a standout player," Heinrich said.
