Bob Heinrich, Board Chair

Robert L. "Bob" Heinrich is serving his third term as the Fayette County representative on the Bluebonnet Trails Board. He was elected as the Chairman of the Board when Bluebonnet Trails Community MHMR Center was formed and still serves in that position. Bob is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, serving in the Military Service for 34 years. He retired from the 147th Fighter Wing in Houston, Texas in December of 2000 where he served as the "Command Chief" for 4 years. In that position, he represented over 1,000 enlisted personnel ensuring their concerns and interests were taken into account in all leadership decisions, both locally and nationally. Bob is a graduate of the United States Air Force NCO and Senior NCO Academies and holds two Associate degrees in Munitions Technology and Aircraft Maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Fayette County Commission for the Mentally Retarded since 1978, holding every elected position. He presently resides on his farm in Schulenburg, Texas.
