The new European Parliament in Strasbourg designed by the Paris firm of Architecture Studio is the first building to want to be a symbol for Europe while at the same time seeking to integrate itself into its setting.An encouraging sign, to be sure, given the eternal accommodational problems that the European Union has had to contend with.
