Carl Hein

Carl Hein is glad to be in Catoosa , and being active in the community.Hein is the new pastor at First Baptist Church of Catoosa.His first Sunday was Aug. 15.Being a new pastor in the community, Hein has jumped right in getting involved.He is currently helping plan Catoosa,s third annual community-wide church service.Hein, his wife, Samantha, and three boys moved to Catoosa from Erick, when Hein was the pastor of First Baptist Church for almost four years.Hein,s wife is the choir teacher at Catoosa High School and Wells Middle School.Their oldest son, Caleb, is a fifth-grader at Cherokee Elementary, and Andrew is a third-grader at J.W. Sam Elementary.Their youngest son, Isaac is 1 1/2 years old.With 12 years, pastoral experience, Hein has pastored various churches throughout Oklahoma.He is a graduate of Fairview High School, Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.,I consider it an honor to preach God,s word,, Hein said. ,It is always a pleasure to serve in a church with other Christians.Although no church is perfect, there is no greater place to be than serving in the church.,Hein,s interests and hobbies include writing, golfing and Oklahoma Sooner sports.,I look forward to serving the community of Catoosa,, he said. ,I enjoy being involved in the community.
