Hein says PEACE isn't a church wide initiative, it's a small group training initiative that helps believers start reaching out at home first."Once a small group has done that in their own Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, that small group can go to another country, connect with a church in that country.We become trainers and equippers for them to be able to do the PEACE Plan in their own context." "In the past we have relied heavily on full time missionaries to get the job done.Our vision is to also add a billion Christian foot soldiers that are engaged in the battle in a strategic and intentional way through their own local churches," Hein said.

Andy Hein, along with wife Kellie and 9-month-old son Callen, comes to us from Charleston, South Carolina.Andy's ministry history includes six years as Student Ministries Pastor at 3,000-member Seacoast Church in Charleston, where he developed original youth discipleship curriculum resources and mobilized students for short and long term mission trips both in the United States and around the world.Previously, Andy served as Student Ministries Pastor at Valley Baptist Fellowship Church and as Ministries and Missions Assistant Director at Saddleback Church, both in California.Andy's responsibilities at Ginghamsburg will include supervision of all youth ministry areas, including weekend classes, discipleship groups, missions, UltraLive, and special events.Andy joins our current youth ministry staff which consists of UltraLive Director Ken Overholser, Youth Education Coordinator Erica Baer, and Clubhouse Director Cheryl Bender.
