    Hein was also a 4-H Camp Counselor and Star Camp Counselor, and received the Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarship, the Schneider Award, 4-H Leadership award, and the I Dare You Award.Hein also started a Mini 4-H Club and was a member of the Queen's Honor Court in 1998 and 1999.

    I was very surprised, Hein said on being named queen.I just love 4-H and i have had a really good time here..

    4-H members who earned champion ribbons for their fair projects and animals got the chance to strut their stuff at the annual ceremony during the Parade of Champions, and tenure recognition awards were handed out to those who celebrated their final year as 4-H-ers, leading up to the coronation.
