Casper students earn national honors -

Nick Heimann of Casper, a student at Natrona County High School, has been selected for membership in The National Society of High School Scholars.The society invites only those students who have superior academic achievement and are among the top scholars in the nation.
Heimann is the manager of the NC Fillies swim team, a member of the NC Mustangs swim team, the NC track team and a member of the Casper Swim Club.He is also a coach for the Casper Swim Club.
The National Society of High School Scholars was founded to recognize outstanding academic performance among high school students.Membership is by invitation only and includes valuable benefits for members such as scholarships, networking, events, publications and other unique opportunities.
Heimann has also been nominated twice for Who's Who Among America's High School Students, something he was told happens to only 1 percent of high school students.
